This is most likely a huge stretch, but my spouse's family were New England Quakers who moved to Tioga County in northern PA about 1804-09. Their last name was Howland and later generations married into the Prince family. They share a family cemetery near Knoxville in Tioga County. We have looked for proof as to the Howland to John Howland connection to the Mayflower, but it is more likely that they are from one of John's Quaker brothers. Jean
