Surnames: Robertson, Rogers, Moore Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/lh.2ADE/2573 Message Board Post: Hello I'm trying to find out any info on Joseph and Harriet Robertson. I come into this family through their daughter Isadore who is my my gggrandmother she married James Matheson in Indpls, Marion Co, IN. In the 1880 census she is listed as Rosa B. and she was born In Paris, Edgar Co, IL in 1859 and died in 1919 Indpls, Marion Co, IN I have found her at age 14 in the Moral, Shelby Co, IN. Joseph was md to Agnes Spurgeon and then to Harriet. On some of Isadora children marriage appl the list her maiden name as Smith. On the Indiana Marriage before 1850 list her as Mrs.Harriet Rogers. Joseph & Agnes are Jeptha parents and I found him in the Paris, Edgar Co, IL census. Since Joseph & Rachel had so many children and two son were named Joseph makes it hard to trace. I need Help!! I will gladly share what I have. You can Email me direct. Thank You for taking the time to read this! Barbara Bklimeberry@peoplepc.com

    3. I am trying to learn more about how the Weddles and Mary Robinson are related to my Crails. Can anyone on the list provide more information than is in the census so I can understand this relationship. I think that the Weddles are also related to my Cole line. In the 1880 Harrison, Bartholomew County, IN (p. 131A) census, my ancestor Thomas J. Crail has three grandchildren living with him. The names in his household in that census are as follows: Thomas J. Crail 69 Head KY Catharine Crail 55 Wife IN Mary Robinson 21 domestic servant IN Charles Weddle 9 grandson IN Nancy Weddle 8 granddaughter IN Sarah Weddle 5 granddaughter IN

    2. Herb, If you find out it was moved, let me know..... My ancestors , John Weaver and his wife Hannah Long were my gr gr gr grandparents and they helped build that building, and I think? It was moved north and is now a farm house...... If anyone lives near Columbus library, I wish they would check the Newspaper around 1899 & 1900, as my father lived there in 1900 as an infant...... And the Weavers helped to bring it to its present location.....and added to it to make it larger. I think the original building might have been just 2 rooms, for the church.... Mollypup2

Mine is a different line. I am working on the genealogy of Vaughn MONROE (singer, actor, orchestra leader) for his descendants, and Luther Berton (Albert) MONROE (1st cousin of John), who is supposed to be a 1st cousin of Vaughn. I, and Luther's granddaughter Claudia, have not been able to find the connection to Vaughn yet. I figure that, if we keep searching though, we will find the connection. Luther looks like he's related to Vaughn - same nose, etc. Thanks for your interest and the info you gave on John & family.

Are you familiar with those branches? I'm particularly interested in Antoinette M. Catchot Reinhart, who died in 1931, and Edna Catchot, who died in 1918 at the age of 32. My husband's family was named Dominguez, sometimes Domingue or Domingo. I'm told that Antoinette was somehow related to them, but I haven't been able to find that relationship. Thanks! Jan G.

    3. Donna Thanks! your most helpful, We suspect Johann Freidrich may have had 2 wives, I think you just proved it. He never seems to appear in any Indiana census. Gerhard Wilhelm Kreienhagen/ born Meier, Maria Katharina Kreienhagen Maria has no maiden name because she was born a Kreinhagen, it is Gerhard who had to change his name since Maria owned the property in Germany. These are the garndparents of John 1851, they came to America in 1847 and perished in 1848. For some reason their 3 children all joined and founded the White Creek Methodist church. They are from near the Barneau castle, Kalkreise, in the Venne area. Thanks dwayne dkuhlman@bcremc.net wrote: This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
