Lisa, I'll respond to this from a faint memory of Columbus. I do not recall a Blue Bird Cafe there, and although we had a Drive-In, as for its owners I'm not aware. Howeve, I seem to recall there may have been a Blue Bird Cafe in Hope, IN. It is quite possible that the Columbus Library may be able to help since they have old City Directories that could confirm your question. Regards, James Reynolds Hull, PhD 20224 N. Hi-- I am curious about the cemetery about a mile from hwy 46 (on the Nashville side). My daughter lives near this small graveyard, and I have walked over there a few times with my grandkids. They still bury there--- some of the markers are quite old. And there are numerious stone crosses marking graves, these crosses have nothing on them. I am used to seeing the ornate metal crosses with German inscriptions and names on them. However these concrete crosses are about 2 ft high, and just plain. Can someone tell me about this cemetery? Is it now perhaps a pauper cemetery? Also, I do have some of my family members who were in the Monroe and Jennings County areas---- Knapp/Goodwin are the surnames. Thanks so much. This is most likely a huge stretch, but my spouse's family were New England Quakers who moved to Tioga County in northern PA about 1804-09. Their last name was Howland and later generations married into the Prince family. They share a family cemetery near Knoxville in Tioga County. We have looked for proof as to the Howland to John Howland connection to the Mayflower, but it is more likely that they are from one of John's Quaker brothers. Jean

FWIW, my gg-grandmother Nancy Robertson Marcum Richardson came from a family of Robertsons in Gallatin Co. KY. After her first husband, John Marcum of Gallatin Co., died in Kenton Co. KY, Nancy settled in Bartholomew Co. IN. I've always wondered if she had relatives in the area.
