None were to Rose, by any name. Also there were no Reddick or Gladden brides named Rose. I think you are will need to look in another county, maybe in another state. Many Ping families lived in Kentucky. In order for another person to help your research, it would be necessary to know some of the proven facts, such as any known names of parents, siblings, children --- with estimated dates and places, which have previously been found.

Does anyone on the list know who the weaver was that wove coverlets around 1845. My daughter has a black & white woven coverlet that has been passed down in the family. Woven in opposing corners is the date 1845. In the other opposing corners is a school house? It was woven for her gr. gr. gr. grmor, Elizabeth (Spraker) Phillippe. Knowing the name of the weaver would be an interesting sidelight to the family history. Other family members who have come to take pictures of it often asks the question. We have checked books relating to weavers and their coverlets, but have not come up with any clues. Thanks for any help. ~ Lou Lou
