    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Wolf, Wolfe, Seitz, Peper, Volland, Ayres, Mellen, Boxell, Alt, Ault Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/lh.2ADE/2129 Message Board Post: I have several of my wolf relatives traced to Bartholomew County. Some of their given names are Christ, Peter, Henry, George, Fred. Some of the surnames they married into were: Seitz, Peper, Volland, Ayres, Mellen, Boxell. Many of them are buried at the Roth Cemetary in Bartholomew County which I have visited. I have been able to go back to about 1856 and believe according to notes left by my grandfather, they came over from Hannover Germany about 1854. I also have Peter and George Wolf's naturalization records from 1868 and 1862, renouncing the King of Bavaria. If anyone can help me bridge the gap back to Germany or just wants to share information, please let me know. Oh and someone had mention a relationship between the Wolfe)'s and the Alt? family. It may just be a coincidence, but I noticed that on Page 253 of the 1860 Census in Harrison Township of Bartholomew Co. Right below Peter, Catherine & George Wolfe is the family of Jacob and Orpha Ault, so I am assuming that they lived next door to each other. Peter Wolfe was my Great, Great Grandfather Thanks!

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/lh.2ADE/2119.1.1.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Maria Elizabeth's father, Michael, was Elizabeth Barbara Rominger's brother. Elizabeth Barbara, as you state, was Elizabeth Ried's grandmother. So Maria Elizabeth Rominger and Elizabeth Ried were cousinbut a generation apart. The Rominger's Roam book was written by Ethel Irene Harryman. Although a reference is made to Elizabeth Ried's father, Jacob Jr., no information is provided on the family, which appears to have also number 17 children. However, there is a supplement to this book titled Rominger Branches: Supplement 1982. I only have the surname index and do not know how to obtain the book. It lists several pages for the Lewis name. So this book might provided the information on the Michael Lewis family if it can be located. Also for true southern Indiana hoosiers, when I did may general search using Michael Lewis, Ried and Indiana, the responses I got gave flashbacks to the Bob Knight era. I nearly choked
