He was born in Bartholomew in 1828 or 1834. From what I understand from family from his second wifes side, Asbury was orphoned by age 6 and I don't know who took care of him from then until he appeared in the 1850 census staying with a Silas Graves in Nodaway Co., Missouri. Am also trying to find who his parents were or if he had any sibblings or other family members. I come down from his first marriage to Martha Jane Joslin who was born in Rush Co., Ind in 1832 or 36. They married in Nodaway Co., Missouri where Martha died in June 1869 and he remarried in 1875 and died in Nodaway Co., Missouri 1913.
All these families are of interest in Bartholomew between 1820 and 1850. Happy to work with anyone who is also working on them in this same time frame. Ginny in WY

My father and his older brother recall family discussions of Mr. Ogden, who married Addy's sister Laura. Apparently Mr. Ogden was quite an interesting. inventive gentleman. They have an old photo of some sort of small automobile developed by Mr. Ogden. On some of the census information, Addy (Addie?) was erroneously listed as "Ida" and her brother Marion as erroneously listed as "Mary". I don't have much information on Charles H. Snyder or his wife, or on the descendants of Addy's siblings. Can you share?
