Davis m. Catherine Parisho) his middle name is spelled out but smudged. To me it looks like Wakefield. I have no clue as to his siblings or parents names. Might there be a connection to these families in Bartholomew???? Hiram was born in OH abt 1814 and was in Indiana around 1820-30s. He was married twice. Once, I believe, to Elizabeth Plow (daughter of Conrad Plow/Plough) from 1831/2 to 1841 when she was granted a divorce in Fayette county and marriage a second time in 1842 to Catherine Parisho (d. of Camwells Parisho and Katherine Fodrea/Fodry) in Bartholomew County. In 1856, they moved to Hardin County, Iowa then in 1860 to Marshall County, Iowa. Any help or guesses from anyone on this would be greatly appreciated. (A brick wall for almost 3 years now)

This is City death record book 3, p. 9: Catherine White, res. Columbus, female, white, wife of John White, b. Oct. 19, 1845, Ireland, father James Cunningham (b. Ireland), mother Mary Shiloh (b. Ireland); Catherine White died May 20, 1920, at Columbus, of stomach cancer; aged 74 yrs, 7 mos, 1 day. Burial was at Henderson, Ky. Since your Catherine was living in Marion Co. in 1910, and you believe she died 3 Apr. 1911, the most likely place would be Marion Co. I have worked just a little with Marion Co. records and can tell you this: the WPA indexes do NOT inlcude all the listings; so if you have not actually contacted Marion Co. Public Health-Vital Statistics-Archives, inquiring about this death record, you could have missed it. The archives is in the subbasement of Marion Co. City-County Bldg., in downtown Indianapolis. Hope this helps. Bartholomew Co. Genealogical Society

Four members of the family are buried at St John's Lutheran Church Cemetery just outside Camp Atterbury: The cemetery plot was owned by Valentine Stillabower, 1826-1900 and his wife, Sara, who died 1876. You can find more information in the book published in Franklin, IN by the Middle School - "The Atterbury File". Perhaps this is the same family. When the government took over the land - all the families had to move away.

I would like to hear from anyone who is researching and/or descended from the Bailey and Martha (McKinney) Rudisell family or the Edgar and Stella (Deering) Rudisell family. I am trying to determine when and where Bailey Rudisell and Martha (McKinney) Rudisell passed away. Bailey and Martha (McKinney) Rudisell were living in Franklin Twp, Johnson, IN on the 1920 census. Martha (McKinney) Rudisell passed away after the 1920 census and before the 1930 census. Bailey Rudisell, widower, is living with his son Edgar's family in Columbus Twp, Bartholomew, IN on the 1930 census. Thanks, Debbie

He was in Beaver County as late as 1815.
