Hi All Allen Co Researchers & Deborah, I am not a Scherer researcher but I went to school with Bev Scherer from Hoagland. She was a gr-granddaughter of David Charles McKeeman as I am too. Her father was Delbert Scherer. Delbert was the son of Verdy Scherer and Marguerite Mercer. Marguerite Mercer was the daughter of Nancy McKeeman and Robert Mercer. I have another Scherer connection: Descendants of Charles SHERER Generation No. 1 1. CHARLES1 SHERER was born 1896 in Indiana. He married VERBA E. MERCER, daughter of ROBERT MERCER and NANCY MCKEEMAN. Children of CHARLES SHERER and VERBA MERCER are: i. PEARL2 SCHERER. ii. MAY SCHERER. iii. ALBERTA SCHERER. iv. RUTH SCHERER. That is not much but something on the Scherers. These are from Madison Twp around Hoagland. I am researching the MCKEEMAN and MCCONAGHY families from the same area.
