    3. I've been watching this Myers/Monroeville thing fairly closely, because I *think* I have some distant relationships in within the Monroeville Myers, mainly because my grandmother's things had a couple Myers funeral cards, plus there were Myers listed on my great grandparents funeral records as attending AND in my grandmother's things I have a photo album that I think has a few pictures of Myers in it. Whew. Yet I have not yet made the connections. However, here is my lineage, perhaps that will help things out. My father is Gary W. Gilbert. My mother, Patricia Ann Fleenor or Fort Wayne. His father was Carl Jennings Gilbert of Convoy, OH. (Really near Monroeville) His mother was Mildred Irene Good. She is my grandmother and the one that has left me these wonderful bits of photos and such. Her parents were George Christian Good of Gar Creek, Milan TWP, IN and Dora E. Byers of Monroeville. Carl's parents were Martin Jackson Gilbert of Convoy and Rosantha Ellen Lhamon of Van Wert. Martin Jackson Gilbert's father was James W. Gilbert of Convoy/Van Wert. George Christian Good's father was Henry Adam Good Sr. of Gar Creek, IN. I suspect that the Myers, married into the Byers lines of my grandmother's mother's family. This is just a guess right now. I am only into genealogy about a year and half right now and have been to the Allen County Public LIbrary now THREE TIMES!!! Not nearly enough, this is for certain! I live in Perrysburg Ohio, which is about an hour and 15 minutes away, but I have small children (7 and 11) and they don't think spending 12 hours in a library is much fun. A couple hours, yes, but 12... that's pushing it. Any connections or information on those surnames of GILBERT, GOOD, BYERS, LHAMON of FLEENOR, would be wholeheartedly accepted with lots of thanks! And if I figure out the Myers connections, I'll give a shout. I'll try and go back and look in the scrapbook for some actual names. Perhaps I can fill in photo references for some people. This album I have is from the 1930's to about 1940. Many thanks... Sherri Chekal
