A while back, someone was asking about an orphan in Marshall County, Indiana. I forwarded the messge to my dad and he sent back some very useful information. Alas! I somehow deleted Dad's message and the message from this list. If that person will contact me, I will put you in contact with my Dad. Dad (Roland Young) has done considerable research in Marshall County over the years. He has the address for the Marshall County Historical Society and what they have there. My understanding is that the Historical Society has lots of the old records, court, vitals, land, etc. They have their own building in an old department store in Plymouth. Dad thought that they would have the orphanage records or be able to direct anyone to where they would be now. Dad grew up in Marshall County and does remember an orphanage being operated in the Plymouth area. Teresa Barnes
