Barb, I live in Toledo but have visited ACPL often. They have a great collection of city directories. I am not sure how early they are. Maybe someone else on the list has that info. If you ever get the opportunity to visit Fort Wayne, you should not miss the library. It is a treasure trove. I hope to get there again as soon as tax season is over.
