Yes, the cemetery is in real bad shape but not as bad as it used to be thanks to two Cub Scout Packs, one Boy Scout Troop and a Varsity Scout Crew. In Oct. they got about half of the brush, scrub and weeds cleared out. The Varsity Scouts have made a new sign and all these fine young men want to take Hatfield Cemetery on as a yearly project. They will be back this May for more cleaning, along with myself. I was only able to get there once this Winter but was able to clean up one small section and unbury one stone. Hopefully, this Spring and Summer I can do some stone repair and resetting. Their are quite a few that are broken and buried. The Washington township trustee does take care of the lawn but that's about all he has time and money for. Brian E.
