Is there anyone in Allen County who does obit lookups? I would like to get the obit for Alvina D. Bennhoff who died on Jan 28, 1943 and was buried in Lindenwood on Jan 30, 1943 "Records from 1881-1970 have been photocopied and are available along with a history of the church at the Allen County Library." This quote was taken from the Allen County Website and is referring to the Zion Lutheran Church records. William Bennhoff was a teacher at the Zion school and had four children while teaching at the school. (Elsie, Eugene, Arnold, and Ruth) I have information that Elsie was born on May 26, 1899. The other three children should have been born within the next ten years or so. The information for the other three should be in the baptism section of the church records.
