Karen, Enumeration Districts changed with each census. I am not sure if there is any place that tells where a certain ED was. I do have a map of Perry Twp. from the 1880 and 1898 Allen Co. Atlas's. In 1880 there was a N. Myers in the NE corner of section 11, Perry Twp. The Salem Reformed Church was on his land. The land just west of his was owned by S.H. Meyers. There was also a Myers who owned 22.75 acres on the west side of the Auburn Rd. at the DeKalb Co. line. There was another, J. F. Myers who owned 80 acres located in the south west corner of Perry Twp. In 1898 the land owned by N. Myers is now owned by D. Meyers. The land to the west is owned by S. Meyers. The land on the Auburn Rd. at the DeKalb Co. line is owned by M.E. Meyers and the land in the south west corner of Perry Twp. is still owned by J.F. Meyer. Hope this helps. I hope to get the 1898 township maps on the Allen Co. GenWeb page soon. Tidbit of info! The location of Auburn Rd. at the DeKalb Co. line caught my eye, as I live about a mile from there! The land directly to the east of Old Auburn Rd. is the current location of I-69 at the Co. line. The land you mentioned as 22.75 acres (owned by M.E. Meyers in 1898) is the location of a Power Transfer sub-station for American Electric Power (AEP) which was built a few years ago for a mini steel mill in NE DeKalb Co near Butler, about 20 miles from here. Off the top of my head, I do not remember if there are any buildings at this location. The Old Auburn Road at this location is a dirt road, and is paved as it rounds the corner at the North County Line Road.. Probably a main route at the time, it is considered a "back road" today! Karl, I've been there. I have listed all the past and present churches in Allen Co. on the Allen Co. GenWeb page. In doing the research for this list, I drove all over Allen County looking for churches that were on the 1880 and 1898 Township maps. There was a Methodist Church on the west side of the Auburn Road at the county line. It's was called Mt. Olivet. It was organized in the 1850's and disbanded in 1922. The bell from Mt. Olivet is at Leo United Methodist Church now.
