The address for the Coroner's Office is: ALLEN COUNTY CORONER 6th Floor City - County Bldg Fort Wayne, IN 46801 (219) 449-7389 The Coroner resigned last week due to health problems, and died with in a day or two. He was buried Saturday. He named a successor, but there may be some delay in response with the transition. Good Luck in your search! For everyone who is looking for the address of the places they want to write to for such things as birth records, they should try this website: www.vitalrec.com/index.html or www.vitalchek.com. The first is for info. to adresses and the second will check records for a fee. I found them both at rootsweb.com under Guide to Tracing Family Trees on the main page. Have fun!
