    1. [INALLEN-L] Henry/Heinrich Schmiedel (repeat)
    2. To Barbara ??.By this time I am sure you responded to my previous POSTING re Henry/Heinrich Schmiedel and my friends of the same surname. If so, would you kindly repeat your response. Unexpectedly, I failed to subscribe to the Digest listing of this page BEFORE unsubscribing from the -L-list, and wasn't successful with getting on the Digest until today. So I have missed all the postings since the 23rd of Feb. Thank you for your efforts. Aufwiederschreiben Bill Rietdorf P.S. I spoke with the Schmiedel's here a couple days ago, and they said they've got a lot of data on a lot of Schmiedel's from their own research lately.

    2. Jo Ann, I don't have any information at all about Mary Ann Myers. I feel certain that we do have a connection somewhere, but the problem is going to be finding out where the connection lies! It seems too much of a coincidence for our Myers families to be living so close in such a small community and not be related in some fashion. 1. [INALLEN-L] Library lookup request
    2. Is there anyone in Allen County who does obit lookups? I would like to get the obit for Alvina D. Bennhoff who died on Jan 28, 1943 and was buried in Lindenwood on Jan 30, 1943 "Records from 1881-1970 have been photocopied and are available along with a history of the church at the Allen County Library." This quote was taken from the Allen County Website and is referring to the Zion Lutheran Church records. William Bennhoff was a teacher at the Zion school and had four children while teaching at the school. (Elsie, Eugene, Arnold, and Ruth) I have information that Elsie was born on May 26, 1899. The other three children should have been born within the next ten years or so. The information for the other three should be in the baptism section of the church records. I would like to get the full name and birthdate. Can anyone get this information for me from the library? David Reinhardt 2309 Greenbriar Boulevard Pensacola, Florida 32514 davidreinh@aol.com
