2. Dawn Hezlep
    3. Hi list, I was wondering if anyone would know if the Allen County Genealogical Society would have pictures from 1872-1880? I am specifically looking for pictures from the Fred Michael Barber Shop around the time of 1872, The Washington House which was located at 121 and 123 Calhoun at the corner of Calhoun and Washington streets around the time of 1875, The Custer House located at 16 and 18 w. Main St. around the time of 1877-1880. My Great Great Grandfather Fredrick Michael owned the Barber shop and The Custer house and was a partner in the Washington house. If anyone has any information I would apreciate it. Thank you Dawn

Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

    3. Located Roux and Perlet family on the 1880 census- George Roux 29, butcher, France Louisa Perlet Roux 29, France Charles, 8, France Michllisae?, 5, Indiana Fred 3, Indiana Anderson, 2, Indiana George 9/12 Sep, Indiana Perlet, Eunnala? 16, sister to Louisa, France Charles is listed as George's son, but George Roux was married to Louisa Perlet in 1874 in Fort Wayne, IN, while Charles was born in 1871 in Alsace. George possibly could have been widowed, but the oral history passed down by Charles's daughters was that Charles came over with his mother, not his father.....the more I discover, the more confused I get! 1. Re: [INALLEN-L] Dupler - Myers
    2. I must correct myself -- Herbert and "A" divorced before 1923, when he married his second wife, Emma Louise Roth, in Madison County, Indiana. Herbert and "A" Myers' son, Oscar A. Myers, married Dorothy Mae Flanders in 1922. He and Dorothy split up when the depression hit in 1929. Oscar moved to North Carolina, where he married for a second time and apparently had more children. Any information would be appreciated! 2. Gene, Another researcher has Jerry Garman's name as Jeremiah Garman. He was born in 1870 and died in 1963. His parents were Enoch Garman and Mary Ellen ("Polly") Warner. I recognize these names from the Dutch Ridge area, which is where my Myers family lived. Karen > This may be helpful to you. 2. Karen, The "Dutch Ridge Reformed Church Record Book" has a Jerry Garman listed as an Elder on Dec. 3, 1933. Could this be the Jerry Garman you are looking for. Some of the names in the book are Garman, Reinhold, Myers, Fredrick, Warner, Snyder-Schneider, and others. The earliest date is in 1893. If you want a list of the Myers or any others let me know. My g grandparents Jacob Frank & Ida (Harwood) Snyder and gg grandparents Corolus & Lovina (Kistler) Schneider changed to Snyder and other family members are buried at Dutch Ridge Cemetery. If anyone connects with these families I would like to exchange information with them. Judy

    3. Karen, This may be helpful to you. My family was originally named Garvelmann, changed it to Garbelmann, then to Garman, then to German. They lived in State Center and Marshalltown. Then went to St. John's Lutheran. Referring to Jerry Garman, do you have an approximate birthdate? It could be that he is one of the lost Germans, as there was a Jerald German born about 1890 that we know nothing about.
