    1. [INALLEN-L] Solomon and Harriet Myers
    2. I am trying to connect Solomon Myers and his wife Harriet Garman Myers to my Myers family. Solomon and Harriet lived in Perry Township. Their children were Martha, Sarah, Julia and Emma. Also living with them were Solomon's nephews, Milton, Hiram and Mandis. Solomon died in 1900; Harriet died in 1911. They are both buried in Dutch Ridge Cemetery. I would really like to find out more information about them to try and link them to Nathan Myers, my ggg-grandfather. Karen

    1. [INALLEN-L] Stroede and Schwind of Germany
    2. Hi list, I'm looking for anyone familiar with the family of William Stroede ( b. 1867) and Mina Schwind (b. 1874). They married in 1895 in Wayne, Allen Co., Indiana. I found them there in the 1900 census with one child, Carl b. 1896. I'm interested in any information on this couple. But am especially interested the parents and siblings of William. William immigrated from Germany in 1891, and worked as a lumber yard laborer in the 1900 census. Is anyone else researching this line? Thanks, ~Michelle

    1. [INALLEN-L] Address renumbering in Fort Wayne
    2. Apparently sometime around 1900 (give or take a decade or so), the house numbers in Fort Wayne were changed to make them more systematic. Does anyone know when this took place, and whether there is anything on the Allen County site to link the current address to the earlier one? Wilson DeCamp Vienna, VA

    1. [INALLEN-L] Dr. MH Lyon
    2. I am looking to find any information of a Dr. MH Lyon. By the photo that I have it appears he was in his 30s or 40s in the 1920s or there abouts. There was no date anywhere so I am going by the style of clothing and the way the text looks on the back. On the back of a commercially produced photograph I saw the credit line for the photographer. It says: "Made by J. Inbody, Elkhart, Ind. Home phone 500" The back is set up to be used as a postcard. Can anyone help find anything at all? Heidi-Marie Blackwell Seattle, WA

    1. [INALLEN-L] Fort Wayne Garden Society
    2. I'm interested in finding a Garden or Horticulture Society in Fort Wayne that was active in the 1920-1940 period. I am hoping to find my great grandmother a member of such a society at that time -- she was an avid gardener. My hope is that they may have been given her garden journal (if there was such a thing) after her death in 1937. Her name was Emily Mary Margaret (Chandler) Blackwell. 1. Re: [INALLEN-L] James S. Logan 1850 Ind census index *CSC
    2. Hi, I was at the Burton Collection today (Wayne State Campus area) which is in the Main Library of Detroit. I was in the 1850 Ind. index and found James S. Smith but I can't identify the County (or city) It is identified as *CSC or KCSC, page #369 and then the name Jackson follows that. Can anyone help me figure out where to look. I almost ordered the microfilm for Jackson Co., but I don't think that is correct. Yours truly, Lynn looking for Logan, Johnson + Klenke
