What time period ? Hoagland is located in East Allen County Schools, my dad worked for East Allen for quite a number of years. If the time periods coinside, he might know approximate time of death for Francis. Teresa -----Original Message----- From: Robert D. Does anyone have Family Archive CD 216 - Indiana Deaths, 1882 - 1920 and would be willing to do a lookup? Genealogy.com Family Finder search shows that this CD ocntains info on the death of Levi T. Norris. My ggfather was Levi T. Norris, last known to be living in Monroeville, Allen county, IN circa 1880. We don't know where or when he was born, his parents' names, nor his date or place of death. I'm hoping that this entry will give me info on how to locate a death certificate -- and maybe learn more info. I don't have experience with Family Archive CDs --- but others have been disappointing. I don't feel like spending $29.95 only to find that this CD only mentions the death of Levi T. Norris and refers to my query posted on rootsweb a couple of years ago. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks. Phil Anderson researching Norris and Long in Indiana __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Try yahoo maps. They can be located through www.yahoo.com. If it is there they should have it:-) Judy
I was wondering if anyone knows where Custer Street was located in Ft. Wayne. I was out visiting this summer and bought a Ft. Wayne street map and there was no Custer Street listed. Thanks, Kim Kimbo0930@aol.com

Nancy, I will look again with the different spelling. Census records and other records are just as accurate as the one taking them. Thanks Lyndy, for looking. I have just come across the Allen Co directory for 1890 and find Jessee in Wayne township spelled Jesse B. FELGER, altho it doesn't give an occupation or location. Hi List, Just thought I would let everyone know. The Allen Co. Death Index only goes to 1920. The index was done by the WPA in the 1930's. Not every death in Allen Co. was reported to the board of health even in the early 1900's, so just because the person is not in the index doesn't mean he or she didn't die in Allen Co. Also for those of you who have wanted a place to post Allen County related obits, you can now post obits on the Allen County Rootsweb Message Boards. Just make sure you have OBITUARY in the classification box. You can also post your surnames on this board. You can access the Allen Co. Rootsweb Message Boards through the Allen Co. query link on the main page of the Allen Co. GenWeb page. Linda Churchward
Thank you Lynn.:-) Judy
Please see if there any Mayhews for me. Please:-) Thank you Judy
Lynn, I noticed your note on the Allen County Index for death. Do you find anything for a George or Ina Williston? He died in 1928 in Ft. Wayne and I'm not sure when she died. Thanks, Tina
