He had not been ill. He was born in Willshire Township, Sept. 2, 1906, a son of Wilson and May Bowen-Nye and was a lifelong resident of the township. He was married to Edith Snyder Nov. 30, 1935. Mr. Nye was a well-known ?er of the Willshire community and served as a PMA Committeeman. Surviving in addition to his wife are his mother, Mrs. Wilson Nye; one daughter, Mrs. Tom Marbaugh of Willshire and one grandchild. One son preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Methodist church at Willshire, the Rev. James Hipkins officiating. Burial will be in the Willshire Cemetery. The body, removed to the Cowan & Son funeral home, will be returned to the residence where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening.
