MORRISON Charles W. Morrison, 79, Decatur, died at 6:42 p.m. Sunday at Adams County Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Morrison was a St. Mary's township farmer and also drove a school bus for Adams Central Schools until retiring in 1983 after 21 years of service. He was a member of Decatur Church of Christ and American Legion Post 207 in Willshire, Ohio. He was a World War II veteran and was an airplane mechanic with the United States Air Force stationed in Texas. Born on December 15, 1917 in Blue Creek Township, in Adams County, he was the son of Orval and Martha White-Morrison. He was married on May 12, 1943, to Olive M. Ridenour, who survives. Other survivors include a son, Wilfred Morrison, Loraine, Ohio; five granddaughters and four great-granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Zwick-Sefton and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, with calling from 2-7 p.m. Tuesday, 2-7 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services Thursday. Burial will be in Tricker Cemetery. Full military graveside services will be conducted by the Homer Pierson Post 207 of the American Legion, Willshire.
