A homemaker, Mrs. Pokorny was born on November 1, 1912 in Logan County, Ohio, the daughter of William and Mary Snapp Barnes. She married Ray Blackford on July 20, 1931; he died August 5, 1957. On July 11, 1964, she married John Pokorny, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Lewis A. and John Blackford, both of Sidney, Ohio; a daughter, Ruth Kline, of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Blackford, and brothers, George and Harry Barnes. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Zwick-Sefton and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Cedarpoint Cemetery, Pasco, Ohio.
