(NORA) PAINTER Jennie V. (Nora) Painter, 86, of 936 Harrison St., widow of Oliver Painter, died at 1:45 a.m. today at the Adams County Memorial Hospital, where she had been hospitalized since Tuesday. She was a member of the Willshire Methodist Church. Born in Blue Creek Township, Adams County, on Feb. 14, 1892, she was the daughter of Lorenzo and Hannah E. Jones-Tinkham, and was married on March 31, 1914 to Oliver Painter. He died March 28, 1962. Survivors include six children: Harold O., Fort Wayne; Clarence O., Decatur; Donald A., Chula Vista, Cal.; Doyle I., Decatur; Lester L., route 1, Hoagland; Mrs. Glen (Audrey) Reinhart, route 4, Decatur; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. One sister and three brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Zwick Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Morrison officiating.
