She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Friedheim, the Adult Club of the church and Sunny Circle Home Economic's Club. Born in Wells County on June 26, 1899, she was the daughter of George and Sybil Springer-Lahrman, and was united in marriage on April 15, 1917 to Otto F. Fuhrman who died Sept. 9, 1958. She resided in the Ossian area for 30 years and was a former resident of Fort Wayne. Survivors include six children: Melvin Fuhrman, Fort Wayne; Mrs. Harvey (Ruth) Eggers, Cedar Bluff, Neb.; Otto F. Fuhrman, Jr., route 1, Decatur; William D. Fuhrman at home; Mrs. Elvin (Shirley) Hormann, route 1, Ossian; James A. Fuhrman, Hoagland; one sister, Mrs. Luther (Almeda) Mock, Monroeville; one brother, Fred Lahrman, New Haven; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One sister, and five brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. at the Zwick Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church at Friedheim, with Rev. Erich E. Reinhold officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
