She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bluffton. Born in Bluffton on July 2, 1901, she was the daughter of Edward A. and Verne Taylor-Gilliland, and was married to Cletus Kyle on April 24, 1920; he died July 1, 1967. Survivors include two daughters, Doris McCrory, Berne, wife of Berne dentist, Dr. James McCrory, and Elizabeth Thurston, Riverside, Calif.; four sons, Harold and William, both of Sunnyvale, Calif.; Robert, Fort Wayne and Cletus Eugene, Belmont, Mich., 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Thoma-Rich Funeral Home, Bluffton, with calling there after 2 p.m. today. Memorials are to Wells County Council on Aging.
