ROLSTON Earl E. Rolston, 67, 261 N. Seventh St., died Sunday in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born on December 9, 1925 in Adams County to Burt and Martha Marbach Rolston and married Doris Hitchcock on December 23, 1950. She survives. He retired in 1978 from Decatur's Central Soya plant and attended Decatur Missionary Church. He was a member of Central Soya's Quarter-Century Club and American Legion Post 43 in Decatur. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. Other survivors are two brothers, Paul and David Rolston, both of Bluffton. A sister is deceased. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Haggard and Armes Funeral Home, Rev. Floyd Vieth officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery, with military graveside rites by American Legion Post 43. Visiting hours are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Preferred memorials are to the Adams County chapter of the American Cancer Society. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
