She was a native of Portland who was employed as a kindergarten teacher since 1988. She formerly taught kindergarten in Decatur. She was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Rex Tullis, former pastor of Decatur Wesleyan Church, and former minister of music at Decatur Church of God; her mother, Virginia Eger, Portland; a son, Rhett Tullis, at home; a daughter, Renee Gorny, Norman, Oklahoma; two sisters, Cathy Gerber, Bluffton and Lorna Burkholder, Largo, Florida; and one brother, Mark Eger, Moore, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Trinity Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Portland. Preferred memorials are to Focus on the Family in care of Zwick-Sefton and Jahn Funeral Home.
