CLOUSE Dale E. Clouse, 71, of Willshire, Ohio, owner and operator of Clouse's Supermarket in Willshire for 46 years before retiring, and a former fire chief and school board member in that community, died at 11:23 a.m. Wednesday in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. He had been a patient since March 19. He attended the Willshire United Methodist Church and was a member of the Willshire Lion's Club. He was born in Willshire on March 13, 1908, the son of George M. and Clara Anspaugh-Clouse, and was married on Dec. 14 1929 to Opal E. Jones, who died Dec 30, 1978. Survivors include two children, Mrs. Robert P. (Beverly) Baird, Poland, Ohio; Mrs. James E. (Kay) Atcheson, Fort Wayne; one sister, Mrs. Arnold (Ruah) Alspaugh, route 1, Willshire; one brother, Darrell Clouse, route 6, Decatur; and seven grandchildren. One brother, Edgar, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Zwick Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenneth Galdeen officiating. Burial will be in the Willshire Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. Preferred memorials are to the Willshire United Methodist Church.
