A graduate of International Business College and retired from Dunbar Furniture in 1982 after 30 years, she was executive secretary to the president of Dunbar. She was a member of Monroe United Methodist Church, the church choir, and was founder of the Elderberries (senior citizens organization), which was formed in the fall of 1982. She also was a member of Christian Women's Club of Decatur. Born in Adams County on April 9, 1919, she was the daughter of Raymond and Leona Rash Marquart (sic; should be Marquette), and was married June 25, 1944, to Howard David Nussbaum; he survives. Also surviving are a son, Rick Nussbaum, Fort Wayne, and a daughter, Lalah Flynn, Columbus, Ohio. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Monroe United Methodist Church. Rev. Juan Evans officiating. Burial will be in Ray Cemetery, west of Monroe. Friends may call at Winteregg-Linn & Haggard Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
