HINDENLANG Clara M. Hindenlang, 67, route 5, died at 12:55 a.m. Sunday in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, after an extended illness. She was born on October 2, 1919 in Allen County to Chancy and Carlista Riley-High, and married Paul Hindenlang on Dec. 14, 1940; he survives. She retired in 1973 from Wayne Novelty Co. of Decatur and was a member of Mt. Zion United Brethren in Christ Church at Bobo and its ladies aid society. Other survivors include two sons, Larry Hindenlang of Ft. Wayne, and Gary "Jake" Hindenlang of Willshire, Ohio; five daughers, Mrs. Terry (Shirley) King if Westville, Ohio; Mrs. Don (Louise) Ray of rural Decatur; Mrs. Robert (Kate) Counterman of 116 N. 11th St.; Mrs. James (Irene) Lloyd of rural Decatur; Mrs. Michael (Diana) Bauman of 140 Belmont Blvd.; a sister, Maxine Minnich of Cement City, Michigan; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A brother and a sister are deceased. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Winteregg-Linn and Haggard Funeral Home, Rev. Robert L. Shook officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery at Convoy, Ohio. Visiting hours are 7-9 p.m. today and 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Preferred memorials are gifts to the church.
