"Maggie" Rash, 72, rural Decatur, died early today in Adams County Memorial Hospital after being a patient there since Monday. She had been ill about a year. She was born on June 13, 1920 in Linn Grove to Rufus and Lelia B. Eversole Meshberger and married Lawrence E. "Joe" Rash on June 11, 1944. She was employed at Decatur's General Electric Co. plant, Back 40 Junction Restaurant, and Northwest Elementary School's cafeteria. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and its Women's Guild, Friendship Women's Circle, and Heidelberg Sunday School class. She was also a member of the Adams County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, American Legion Auxiliary (past president), and Gamma Nu Soriety at Bluffton. Other survivors are two sons, Dennis E. Rash, rural Bluffton, and Thomas A. Rash, rural Decatur; a brother, Richard Meshberger, Linn Grove; a sister, Mrs. Max (Martha Rose) Habegger, Houston, Tx.; and five grandchildren. A brother, Robert Meshberger, is deceased. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Zion United Church of Christ, Rev. Frances Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Linn Grove. Visiting hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Sturday and 10 a.m. to noon, 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Haggard and Armes funeral Home and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday in the church.
