Hamrick, 88, Willshire, Ohio, a retired farmer and former employee of International Harvester Co., and Central Soya Co., died Wednesday afternoon at Shane Hill Nursing Home, Rockford, O., where he had been a patient since Aug 6. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church. Born Nov. 15, 1898 in Blue Creek Township, Adams County, he was the son of Miles Wesley and Amanda Ann Garwood Hamick, and was married to Nora Frank on Feb. 28, 1923; she died Nov. 3, 1986 after 63 years of marriage. Survivors include 8 children, Mrs. Robert D. (Evelyn) Luginbill, route 3, Decatur; Charles E. Hamrick and Victor L. Hamrick, both of Decatur; Clarence L. Hamrick of route 1, Willshire; Paul R. Hamrick, route 2, Monroeville; Mrs. Lindy (Norma) Lybarger, North Manchester; Duane J. Hamrick and Mrs. Thomas (Carolyn) Baker, both of route 1, Rockford; a brother, Jesse Hamrick, route 1, Willshire; 35 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. Eight brothers, two sisters, and one great-granddaughter are deceased. Services will be held at 1 p.m. (Indiana time) Saturday at Mt. Hope Church of the Nazarene, Rev. J. Dean Pickett officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope (Willard) Cemetery. Friends may call at Zwick-Boltz & Jahn Funeral Home from 1-8 p.m. (Indiana time) Friday, with calling one hour prior to services at the church Saturday.
