Never Regained consciousness from Paralytic Stroke of Wednesday Mrs. E. G. Coverdale received word this morning of the death of her brother, Rollo Ellis, which occurred at 5:00 o'clock at the sanitarium at Martinsville. He was taken from his home in Indianapolis to the sanitarium, Wednesday, and that evening at five p.m. he suffered a stroke of paralysis. He never regained consciousness and did not recognize his mother and his brother, Scott Ellis, when they arrived at his bedside, yesterday. He was a young man in the prime of life, arriving at his twenty-sixth year last December 9. He was the son of the late Lafayette Ellis and Mrs. Bertha Ellis of this city. He was born in Redkey,and spent the younger years there, coming later with his parents to this city. He lived here nine or ten years, before going to Indianapolis three years ago in October. While in Redkey he united with the Christian church, and he was also a member of the Eagle's lodge at Indianapolis. He was a young man of a jovial disposition, good natured and ??? and his friends were many.
