I am looking for the two obituaries that appeared in the Berne Witness: Abigail (Mrs. Peter) Mahnesmith dated Jan 5 1904 and James Rupright Dec 16 1909. Thank you.

I have located the obit for Abigail Mahnesmith. However, she had died long before 05 Jan 1904. The obit appears in the Berne Witness on Tuesday 05 May 1903. I found her actual death date, 01 May 1903, in the Adams Co. Death Records Index. Her obit doesn't give much information but we do know the married name of her daughter and that it is highly likely she was buried in Williamsport. James Rupright is not listed in the Death Records Index or any cemetery records and I was not able to locate an obit for him by using the date you gave.
