ROSS DIES AT LOCAL HOSPITAL Harry M. Ross, 62, of 209 Grant Street, died at 3:17 p.m. Thursday at the Adams County Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient 10 days. He had been ill for the past three weeks. He was born in St. Mary's Township, Aug. 14, 1907, a son of Richard I. and Amanda Thatcher-Ross, and was married to Nina P. Miller, May 17, 1930. Mr. Ross was a Farm Bureau employe for 20 years, and for the past year had been night watchman for Bag Service. He attended the Bobo UB Church. Surviving in addition to his wife, are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Ruth Ann) Burkhart of Monroe, route 1; two sisters, Mrs. Howard (Ethyl) Beck of Decatur route 5 and Mrs. Frank (Viola) Fortney of Pleasant Mills; three brothers, Arthur and Robert A. Ross of Decatur, route 5 and Joseph Ross of Lima, O.; and three grandchildren. Two brothers, Clark and Orval, are deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Zwick funeral home with Rev. Lawrence T. Norris and Rev. Joseph Gibson officiating. Burial will be in the Willshire, O., cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday until time of the services. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
