Mrs. Debolt underwent an operation at the hospital Saturday, and peritonitis developed, causing the death. Mrs. Debolt was a daughter of Isaac and Sarah Whittenbarger, and was born in Van Wert county, Ohio, February 14, 1879. In early life, she was married to Jesse Debolt, who survives. Mrs. Debolt had resided in Decatur and Adams county for the last twenty-three years. Surviving besides the husband, are three children: Mrs. Joby Werst of Decatur, Mildred and Wilbur Debolt at home; and three brothers, Walter Whittenbarger and Willis Whittenbarger of Decatur, and John Whittenbarger of Middlepoint, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the United Brethren church in this city at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with the Rev. Cecil B. Smith of Ligonier, former pastor ot the local church, officiating.
