She had been ill since 1959 and a resident of the rest home since 1965. She was born in Adams County, Jan. 26, 1893, a daughter of Solomon E. and Elizabeth Habegger-Nussbaum, and was married to Noah D. Schwartz Aug. 3, 1914. Her husband preceded her in death in 1944. Surviving are an adopted son, Palmer L. Schwartz of Pleasant Mills; a foster brother, Edwin C. Amstutz; two sisters, Miss Lydia D. Nussbaum and Mrs. Sarah Schwartz of Berne and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Yager funeral home in Berne, with Rev. Samuel Aschliman officiating. Burial was in the Mazalin cemetery, northwest of Berne.
