The deceased was a brother of William Davis of Geneva. Mr. Davis died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at his home following a prolonged illness. He was born October 23, 1882, in Mercer County, O., the son of Hiram and Lydia D. Harmon-Davis. A retired farmer, he was a member of Liberty Chapel church. On Nov. 3, 1906, he was married to the former Bessie Squier, who survives, with one son, Lowell Davis of Riberia Beach, Fla., two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Although third oldest of a family of six, the other five survive: four brothers, Bert, Clyde and Frank Davis of Rockford, O., and William of Geneva, and one sister, Mrs. James (Mary) Adams of Mendon. Rev. Geoffrey Clay will officiate at the services Saturday, with burial in the Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, O. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
