Reynolds, 68, of Jay City, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Veteran's hospital in Marion, where he had been a patient four years. Mr. Reynolds, a World War II Veteran, had been employed at Dunbar Furniture and Smith Bros. at Berne. Born Nov. 9, 1901, he was a son of George and Elizabeth Harshbarger-Reynolds. Surviving are his wife, the former Leola Bryan Patterson; one step-son, Charles W. Patterson of Berne; three step-daughters, Mrs. Robert (DeLee) Mattax of Ossian, Mrs. Howard (Delores) Patch of Jay City and Mrs. Evan (Helen) Brunner of Rainbow Lake, Geneva; two brothers, Raymond Reynolds of Fort Wayne and Wiley Reynolds of Ft. Recovery, O; one sister, Mrs. Thomas Resh of Celina, O.; and 12 step-grandchildren. One son and four brothers are deceased. Funeral rites will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Yager funeral home in Berne, with Rev. Don Cutts officiating. Burial will be in State Line cemetery near Ft. Recovery.
