Robber, 77, of 837 State street, New Haven, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday at her home. She had been ill 4 years. A native of Fort Wayne, she had lived in New Haven since 1939. Mrs. Robber was a member of Emmanuel [sic]Lutheran Church at New Haven, its Ladies Aid Society, and Unit 330, American Legion auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Herman F. Robber; 2 sons, Donald of Fort Wayne and Herman Jr. of Paulding, Ohio; six daughters, Mrs. Arnold Buuck of Decatur, Mrs. Arthur Hieber of Fort Wayne, Mrs. George Schwartz of Uniondale, Cmdr. Lelah Spencer of Great Lakes naval hospital in Illinois, Mrs. Alfred Scheumann of Hoagland, and Mrs. Fred Newhouse of Ossian; a sister, Mrs. Albert Bruna of Fort Wayne; a brother Herbert Moeller of Milwaukee, Wis.; 30 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran church, Rev. Stratford Eynon officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the E. Harper & Son Funeral Home in New Haven after 7 p.m. today until noon Saturday, then at the church until time of the services.
