A native of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Miller was a member of one of Fort Wayne's oldest pioneer families. Two Ormiston brothers arrived in the area with Gen. Anthony Wayne in 1778. They received land grants and settled here with their holdings, containing most of what is now the south part of the city. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
