HEBBLE IS TAKEN BY DEATH Funeral Services Monday Afternoon Purman B. Hebble, 63, former resident of Decatur, died at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon at St. Elizabeth's hospital in Lafayette. Death followed an illness of five months of complications. He was born in Green county, O., May 31, 1891, a son of Hezekiah and Martha Andrews-Hebble. He, at one time, operated the restaurant at the Rice hotel here, and moved to Lafayette several years ago, where he was employed as a restaurant chef. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Reed of near Monroe; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Arbie Owens of Decatur; and a half-brother, Eddie Deitsch of Decatur. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Black funeral home, the Rev. Benj. G. Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery.
