Friday, October 28, 1960 Arthur Wilder Dies After Heart Attack Arthur B. Wilder, 52, well known Washington Township resident, died suddenly at 4:15 o'clock this morning following a heart attack suffered while at work at the Central Soya Co. plant in this city. He had been in ill health from a heart ailment for the past five years but his death was unexpected. He was born in Kirkland Township March 11, 1908, a son of Emile and Henrietta Bohnke Wilder, and was married to Helen Tricker, August 29, 1929. Mr. Wilder operated his farm three miles south and one-half mile west of Decatur, and also was employed as fireman at the steam power plant of Central Soya Co. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and the Holy Name Society. Surviving in addition to his wife are seven sons; Arthur J. Wilder of Woodburn, science teacher at New Haven, James E., Edward E., and D. Joseph Wilder, all of Decatur route 4, and Glenn G., David and Paul Wilder, all at home; five daughters, Mrs. William (Charlene) White of Decatur route 6, and Misses Rosalie M., Louise R., Jeanine C and Lynette Wilder, all at home; seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 9:15 Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Simeon Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery. The body, removed to the Zwick Funeral Home, will be taken to the residence, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Saturday. The Holy Name Society will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
