Death was due to a stroke of apoplexy. Mr. Thomas had resided at the county farm for several years. He was born in Kirkland township. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the county farm. Burial will be made at the cemetery at Honduras. The Rev. A. R. Fledderjohann, pastor of the Reformed church of this city will have charge of the services. Decatur Daily Democrat Vol. XXVII. No. Ten. Friday, January 11, 1929. p. 1, col.
