COIL Elmer R. Coil, 88, of Celina, O., a native of Chattanooga, O., died Tuesday at Otis hospital in Celina. Born Sept. 20, 1886, he was the son of Jacob Walter and Susan Irelan-Coil, and married Beatrice Helen Bates on Christmas day in 1908. Surviving are the wife; two sons, Harold of LaOtto and Don of Celina; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Gipe of Colon, Mich.; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mae Holbrook, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at Vale-Stein-Lehman funeral home in Celina, with Rev. Irvin Moore officiating.
