Dianne was born on August 12, 1933, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Lawrence E. and Veronica (Anker) Linn. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Decatur. She was a retired school librarian for the North Adams Community Schools system. She was a member of Tri Kappa sorority, the Indiana State Retired Teachers'Association, the American Association of Retired Persons, the National Education Association, the Adams County Historical Society, the Indiana Historical Society, the Swiss Heritage Society, and Indiana University's Alumni Association. She also served on many boards of the church, was a member of the Decatur Plan Commission, and served in various offices in teaching and library organizations. She is survived by a few cousins, including Richard F. (Colleen) Linn of Berne. She was preceded in death by a sister. Funeral services will held at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2009, in the Swiss Village auditorium, with visitation from 5:30-7 p.m. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery. Memorials are to the Perpetual Fund at First Presbyterian Church in Decatur. Arrangements were by Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur.
