MONCE Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Thoma-Rich Funeral Home, Bluffton, for Henry F. Monce, 62, of Silver Lake, route 1, Angola, brother of Mrs. Ted (Irene) McCune of route 1, Geneva. He died at 10:15 p.m. Friday at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Burial was in Stahl Cemetery. Mr. Monce operated the Monce garage in Petroleum for 32 years. Born March 22, 1912 in Jackson township, Wells County, he was a son of Edward and Laura Dawson-Monce and married Marjorie Williamson on June 16, 1934. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Joe of Tuscola, Ill., Jack and Kent of Petroleum; one daughter, Miss Connie Monce of Fort Wayne; a brother, Claude of Van Wert, O.; four sisters, Mrs. Ted (Irene) McCune of route 1, Geneva; Mrs. Chester (Delcia) Nahrwold, Mrs. Ivel VanSwearingen and Miss Catherine Monce, all of Fort Wayne; and 10 grandchildren.
