Marie Litterer E. Marie Litterer, 94, of Decatur, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2010, at her residence. She was born on September 11, 1915, in Decatur to Perry J. and Sarah (Brunner) Teeter. She married Lewis J. Litterer on August 15, 1941; he passed away on September 11, 1977. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara L. Litterer of Decatur; a daughter-in-law, Mariam Litterer of Melissa, Texas; a sister, Phyllis Reed of Florissant, Missouri; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, a brother, and a sister. She worked as a lifelong homemaker. Visitation is 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, in Woodcrest Retirement Community's Porter Auditorium. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., immediately following the calling on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at Woodcrest's Porter Auditorium. Officiating will be Rev. John Follett.
