KRUGH IS TAKEN BY DEATH Heart Attack Fatal to Local Resident Ernest O. Krugh, 78, well-known retired machinist of this city died unexpectedly of a heart attack about 5 o'clock Monday evening in his room at 104 E. Jefferson Street. He had not been ill and was downtown several times earlier Monday. He was born in Mercer county, O., March 10, 1877, a son of David and Ninerda Archer-Krugh, but had lived in or near Decatur for the past 50 years. His wife, Dollie, preceded him in death. Mr. Krugh was a member of the Moose lodge in this city. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marian Brodbeck of Decatur; two sons, Vernon Krugh of Decatur and Robert Krugh of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. George Shineldecker (sic) and Mrs. Vernon Longsworth of Ohio City, O., and Mrs. Glenn Baughman of Pioneer, O. Four daughters, two brothers and one sister are deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gillig & Doan funeral home, the Rev. H. J. Welty officiating. Burial will be in the Tricker cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 o'clock this evening until time of the services.
