Adams County Coroner Robert Zwick placed the cause of death as blood clot. Mrs. Baxter had been in ill health for several years, but her condition was not considered serious. She had spent her entire life in Decatur. She was born here Aug. 3, 1902, the daughter of Girt and Clara Reynolds, both of whom are deceased. She is survived by the husband, Curtis Baxter, and two children: Robert James, 15, and Kathryn Louise, 10. Other survivors are the step-mother, Mrs. Charles Massonee, of this city; two half-sisters, Mrs. Bernard Braun of the Homesteads, and Mrs. Waldo Eckrote of Mercer Avenue, and a half-brother, Noble Reynolds. She was a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday at 1:30 p.m., and at the church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Glen Marshall, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Maplewood Cemetery. The body will be removed from the Black Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon and may be viewed at the home after 7 o'clock Tuesday evening until time of the funeral.
